Coming from such an unbiased source as the good Rev. Dr. Miltiades it must be completely true and without question! I don't doubt that the Orthodox church can trace its roots back 2,000 years, but so can the Roman Catholic church. This high handed and arrogant attitude on the part of certain people must certainly have contributed to the failed attempts of reunification between these two great churches.
