High Hopes for Episcopal Assembly Fall Through

High hopes for episcopal assembly fall through as an embittered minority of executive board members, the obvious mouthpiece for others, exhort the abandonment of Constantinople and the revisionist history of there ever having been a single jurisdiction in North America. Met. Phillip of Antiochian Arch. in his own words "we should with one voice, beg His Holiness, the Ecumenical Patriarch to leave Istanbul and move to Washington, D.C. or New York City and head a united Orthodox Church in this hemisphere. All of us, I am sure, will be blessed to be under his omophorion and Orthodox unity in North America will cease to be a dream, but a reality".  Met. Phillip of Antiochian Arch. vision for obedience and love  is marked by his engolpion envy. This laughable ultimatum that His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew abandon and forsake the first See of Orthodoxy for false allegiance and obedience deplorable. Apparently Met. Philip wishes to impose the cowardice on the Ecumenical Throne. The Patriarchate of Antioch fled Turkey for Damascus. Clearly, Met. Philip has lost his orientation completely deluded as he laments the collapse of SCOBA while seemingly getting into bed with Muslims by encouraging the exodus of Christians. Amazingly the church of  self identified American orthodox christians are demonstrating ethnopheletism at its best by this public, high profile and formal demand that His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch become an American National and only then  to be gloriously shadowed by his omophorion. Praise be to Met Philip for speaking his vile brand of honesty an obvious pupett for ex-SCOBA leadership who lament the internment of SCOBA and while hailing as a personal victory of the persecuted church abroad.
